Personal History		Born on Alpha Centauri to an El‑Aurian mother and a Human father, Seth grew up in a disciplined, steady household rooted in a fourth‑generation cartographer lineage. His parents met through a mutual interest in cartography. The oldest of his younger siblings, he led by example. His father’s interest in cartography led Seth into naval service before Starfleet. When he turned 29, he joined the Alpha Centauri Defense and Colonial Naval Service as their navigator. Born with congenital deafness as a first‑generation El‑Aurian hybrid, doctors fixed the underlying issue, and his younger siblings didn’t inherit it. However, his parents were open to helping him explore his world. With the Starfleet‑issued hearing device that sits cleanly behind his right ear, with the mold fitted directly into the ear canal, the hearing world became something he could engage with on his own terms. During his early years, Seth learned from a very young age how to navigate via the stars and a simple nautical compass. Alpha Centauri had many lakes and big, wide seas. His father taught his children sailing. His mother listened and cared for her children. Seth eventually decided upon his future and set his marker on that point of the universe.
