USS Eventide    [ View Specifications » ]
Bridge   The bridge of the Eventide is compact, efficient, and purpose-built for scientific operations rather than tactical command. Unlike larger Starfleet vessels, there is no expansive open floor or elevated command platform. Instead, the space is tightly arranged to minimize response time and maximize situational awareness.
Captain’s Ready Room   Located directly off the bridge, the captain’s ready room is modest in size but thoughtfully arranged. A small desk, a wall-mounted display, and a compact seating area provide space for briefings, private consultations, and command-level review of scientific findings.

There is no attempt at grandeur. Instead, the room conveys trust and responsibility, serving as a private extension of the bridge rather than a personal retreat.
Senior Officers’ Quarters   Senior officers aboard the Eventide are housed in private but restrained quarters. Each cabin includes a sleeping alcove, a small workstation, storage compartments, and a private head. Showers are not included, reflecting the Oberth’s limited volume and emphasis on shared facilities.
Junior Officers’ Quarters   Junior officer quarters are semi-private, typically arranged as single-occupancy cabins with compact layouts. Furnishings are utilitarian: a fold-down bed, a desk terminal, and integrated storage.
NCO Quarters   Non-commissioned officers occupy shared cabins, usually two to four personnel per compartment. These spaces are practical and durable, designed for crew members whose duties are often physical, technical, or maintenance-focused.
Enlisted Crew Quarters   Enlisted berthing compartments are communal by necessity, housing multiple crew members in bunk-style arrangements. Privacy is limited, but thoughtful layout and staggered shift schedules prevent overcrowding.
Communal Showers & Hygiene Facilities   Hygiene facilities aboard the USS Eventide reflect the ship’s compact design and Starfleet’s emphasis on efficiency and fairness. While space limitations prevent private bathing facilities for most of the crew, accommodations are tiered to support operational needs and rank responsibilities.
Sickbay   Sickbay is located in the secondary hull, where structural isolation can be maintained during hazardous research missions. The facility includes multiple biobeds, a surgical suite, a small ICU ward, and an isolation area for xenobiological exposure.
Main Engineering   Main Engineering aboard the Eventide is compact, crowded, and intensely functional. There is no cathedral-like warp core chamber. Instead, the warp core is partially recessed into the deck, surrounded by tightly packed control consoles and maintenance access panels.
Security Office   The Security Office is small but centrally located, allowing rapid access to critical ship areas. It houses monitoring stations, security records, and internal sensor controls.
Armory   The armory is a secure, reinforced compartment adjacent to the Security Office. It contains phasers, EVA gear, hazard suits, and limited tactical equipment.
Shuttle Bay   The Eventide features a compact shuttle bay designed to service one to two small shuttlecraft. The bay is functional rather than spacious, with limited overhead clearance and tightly organized maintenance stations.
Science Labs   Science laboratories dominate the secondary hull. These range from general-purpose labs to specialized facilities for xenobiology, planetary geology, atmospheric analysis, and anomalous phenomena.
Turbolift System   The turbolift system aboard the Eventide is limited but carefully routed. Vertical shafts run through the primary hull, while reinforced lift trunks extend through the connecting struts into the secondary hull.
Computer Core   A vertically oriented core running through multiple decks, supporting the ship’s heavy data-processing needs.
Gym, Locker Rooms, and Wellness Facilities   The USS Eventide maintains a single, centrally located fitness and wellness complex designed to support crew health during long-duration scientific missions. The space is compact but thoughtfully organized, reflecting Starfleet’s understanding that physical conditioning is essential even aboard a non-combat vessel.
